Liquid Sky Lacquer Cozy Autumn Nights Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Tonight I have Liquid Sky Lacquer's Cozy Autumn Nights Collection to share with you. This collection consists of 4 polishes including 2 glittery jellies and 2 glitter toppers. All of these have ultrachrome flakies in them as well! Fall really gets me in the mood for glitters (I feel like I haven't worn them much at all this summer) so I was very excited for these! The Cozy Autumn Nights Collection launches this Saturday, September 5th at 2 PM PST in Liquid Sky Lacquer's shop.

First up I have the two glittery jellies. These started out sheer, but built up to a nice squishy coverage at 3 coats. As I have found with most squishy jellies, you definitely need to wait a bit between coats to prevent dragging. They are both packed with glitter, but were easy to smooth out with a coat of a thicker topcoat. I decided to show them both on their own at 3 coats as well as 1 coat over a coordinating base color in case you want to wear them that way.

Crisp Air*Dark Nights*Bright Stars is a tealy blue jelly filled with red, orange, brown, and caramel glitters as well as tons of green/purple shifting ultrachrome flakies. This polish was really packed with ultrachrome flakies, so you actually got a really nice color shift to purple when you move your fingers. This was such a strange mix of colors to me initially, but somehow it all worked to make a really cozy polish for fall! I think that in the end, I preferred the look of this one layered over a dark base, but when you built it up on its own the color shift was really nice (you can see it better in the macro).

Warm Berry Pie is a squishy berry jelly filled with red, orange, and berry glitters as well as purple/pink ultra chrome flakies. The name is so perfect for this one, because I definitely see berry pie when I look at it. This one stood out to me immediately when I saw pictures of the collection and it is a stunner! I think I like this one better on its own because it's just so squishy and has a ton of depth, but it looks nice layered too, so either way it's a winner!

Next I have the two glitter toppers from the collection. Formula on both of these was top notch with the perfect amount of glitter coverage in 1 coat over your base of choice. I love the size of the glitters too because they are large enough to be bold, but not super chunky so they are easy to get glassy smooth with just 1 coat of topcoat.

Cuddling by the Campfire is a cool toned glitter topper filled with burgundy, blue, orange, and brown glitter as well as a multitude of blue/purple ultra chrome flakies. This is the more cool toned of the two glitter toppers and I was really smitten with it over this smoky blue base! Again, such a fun mix of colors that are perfect for fall and there are tons of layering possibilities!

(1 coat over Pretty & Polished Weather the Storm)

Turning Leaves is a warm toned glitter topper filled with red, orange, purple, blue, and brown glitters as well as warm pinky purple ultrachrome flakies. Like I said, this is the more warm toned of the two glitter toppers and I thought it looked so fun over the light orange base. All of the colors of the turning leaves are represented so well here!

(1 coat over Polish My Life Pumpkin Mashup)
