Hi everyone! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend (it was Easter AND my birthday yesterday, so I had double the fun!). I actually fell asleep with my laptop open working on this post, so that's a sure sign of fantastic time, right? I have Glam Polish's brand new Outta This World Trio to share with you today! This limited edition glittering trio totally encompasses its spacey theme and the rich jewel tones are sure to be crowd pleasers. This trio, along with the Truly Outrageous Collection will be releasing on April 1 at 2 PM EDT in the Glam Polish shop.
I will start off with formula since it was consistent across the board with these. The jelly base has a nice opacity and glitter load and reached full opacity in 2 easy coats. The formula was slightly thick/dense so that it wasn't runny, but spread nicely and easily on the nail. These dry down to a slightly gritty finish, so I recommend using 2 coats of a thicker topcoat for a glassy smooth finish (I used KBShimmer Clearly On Top). All of these shades have color shifting shimmer in the bases as well which really makes them chameleons depending on how the light hits them, but this was super hard for me to capture in photos. It really adds a layer of depth to them that makes them even more wonderful in real life than in photos!
Space Oddity has a deep plum jelly base with holographic microflakies, ultra holo glitters, and violet/fuchsia shimmer (2 coats). The fuchsia shimmer in this one really translates in real life into giving this polish a more warm, plummy tone in certain lights whereas my photos show the cooler side of that (mainly picking up the base shade with violet shimmer).
Man on the Moon has a deep blurple jelly base with holographic microflakies, ultra holo glitters, and purple/indigo shimmer. This one has my favorite color shift with a strong shift purple shift in certain lights that is just magical! This one truly looks like some sort of outer space nebula.
Life on Mars has a deep red base with holographic microflakies, ultra holo glitters, and crimson shimmer. I would say that this shimmer in this one is the most on-tone and not as flashy as the other two. Still, it's a stunning polish with it's lovely holo flakes popping out in the base!
